Due to the Family Run, Junior Marathon, Bambini Sprint, and City Run, the following road closures will take place around the Opera between 12:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.:
From 12:00 p.m.: Closure of Burgring
From 12:00 p.m.: Complete closure of Opernring (Opernring up to Girardigasse; Girardigasse remains open)
From 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: Closure in Stadtpark, Erzherzog-Johann-Allee

The entire marathon course will be closed on Sunday, 12 October 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Traffic disruptions on adjacent streets can be expected starting at 7:00 a.m. Leaving the area by car is possible until 9:00 a.m. at the latest, in the running direction via designated exits.
From 7:00 a.m.: Closure of Girardigasse, Opernring to Eisernes Tor; activation of closures along the race route begins
From 9:00 a.m.: Closure of the entire race route
End of closures:
Sunday, 12 October: Opernring until 8:00 p.m.
Monday, 13 October: Burgring until 2:00 a.m.; the Opera and the opposite street section until 4:00 p.m.; cycle paths until midnight (12:00 a.m.)

Bicycle Path Information
The cycle path in the Opernring and Burgring area will be closed from Tuesday 10:00 a.m. until the following Tuesday 4:00 p.m. Along the entire marathon route, cyclists should expect restrictions and detours.
